Elsi Rimehit was an 8-year old girl who was bitten by a werewolf and possibly executed by cathars of the Church of Avacyn on the plane of Innistrad.
Description
Elsi Rimheit was a young girl known for her spirited nature and deep affection for her family, especially her mother Adila Rimheit. She had red hair and a tender heart, expressing longing and fear during her separation from her mother. Despite her youth, Elsi demonstrated courage and loyalty to her faith in Avacyn.
Tragically, Elsi became a victim of the escalating conflict with werewolves in Kessig. She was accused by the Church of Avacyn of being bitten by an abomination, a charge that ultimately led to her unjust condemnation by the church. Despite her mother's desperate pleas and efforts to prove her innocence, Elsi could not be saved, and she either died from her wounds or was executed by the Cathars. The church's harsh judgment and the tragic loss of her daughter deeply affected Adila.
In the aftermath, Jorgin Rimheit, Elsi's father, faced severe consequences for his alleged involvement and was also sentenced to death. Adila, undeterred by personal tragedy, eventually returned to her roots in North Kessig to serve as a parish priest, determined to find solace and purpose in her faith despite the profound losses she endured.
Elsi's untimely death cast a long shadow over her family and those close to them, leaving a legacy of sorrow and unresolved grief. Her memory continued to haunt her mother and others connected to her, reflecting the ongoing struggles and sacrifices in a world besieged by darkness and uncertainty.
After her death, she was seen as a geist several times, crying for her mother. Her body was eventually released to Adila by Raben Amsel, which hopefully brought her peace in death.
