Albrecht was a vampire and friend of Thatu Reiniger, victim of the Bloodletter on the plane of Innistrad.
History
Albrecht had a daring and possibly reckless demeanor. Physically, he was present in Stensia where he encountered Thatu Reiniger, a meeting that would prove fatal. Albrecht had a certain boldness or adventurous spirit, willing to engage with dangerous elements such as magical artifacts despite the potential risks.
Albrecht met his demise while handling a mysterious sword named the Bloodletter, which was revealed to possess deadly properties. In an attempt to wield it, he inadvertently triggered its lethal effect: any wound inflicted by the blade caused eternal bleeding in the living and fatal consequences for the undead. His death was swift and dramatic, marked by excruciating pain and a physical deterioration that ended with his lifeless body collapsing to the ground.
His untimely end underscored to Thatu Reiniger the dangers and power resting in the sword, which in turn would lead to Thatu's demise at the hands of Raben Amsel.
