The Grimoire of the Dead is a legendary artifact on the plane of Innistrad.

Description

The Grimoire of the Dead is a legendary, powerful grimoire on necromancy. It has a brown cover with the outline of a hand on top of it. The binding appears to have bones on the outside. Studying the grimoire allows one to gain the ability to reanimate the dead as zombies. This is represented in-game via study counters that are gained when the player discards a card. It can then be sacrificed to bring back all creatures from all graveyards to the battlefield under the user's control as black zombies once enough studying - gaining three study counters - is done.
