Kira (KEE-rah)[1], Great Glass-Spinner, is a kami of Kamigawa.

History

Kira is an infamous kami that can ward itself and others against spells using coatings of magical glass.[1] It is said that it sees each spell as an intricate tapestry and that it is the great unraveler of them.[2] A samurai once tried to strike the fragile-looking bubble created by Kira but instead her sword shattered into countless pieces.[3] It appears as a small humanoid fish-like creature wrapped in a ward bubble.
