Riko was a student of Minamo on Kamigawa, a mage and an excellent archer.[1] Contrary to the striking feminine features of Michiko, Riko was rather boyish, with muscular bow-arm and short hair. Toshi Umezawa even considered her an assassin or a bodyguard in disguise. She faithfully accompanied Michiko through the whole endeavor that led to the end of the Kami War.
