History
Ursal Daleel was the ambassador of Suderbod, who was in the Berimish palace when the forces of Tagard Tarngold took over the city. While the viashino were sleeping, Ursal opened the doors for the invaders and allowed Tagard to claim Bey Lisolo's amulet of leadership. Ursal later manipulated the wizard Aligarius Timni with food laced with mind-altering honey containing addictive Suderbod spices. He conspired with Karelon to have the king assassinated, having Aligarius forge a talisman that allowed Ursal himself to kill the king with a crossbow bolt. Ursal then had the wizard steal the Magewall Hub from the Institute of Arcane Study, and join him in traveling to Hemarch Solin of Suderbod. He made Aligarius move the magewall away from the valley and gathered the Suder army to march through the Great Marsh. He schemed to have the Hemarch murdered, and managed to trick Recin and Kitrin into a personal conflict with the ruler, which ended with Solin being killed. However, just as his plans were nearing full fruition, Aligarius managed to snap out of his addiction just enough to dazzle Ursal with a light ball, which allowed Recin and Kitrin to knock him out. When he later encountered the trio in the bayou, Recin pulled him underwater and he was drowned, then eaten by an attalo.[1]
