Legend of Jedit Ojanen (non-canon), Johan, Jedit, Hazezon |
Hazezon Tamar was the governor of Bryce on Dominaria, during the time the city-state experienced Johan's War, a conflict with Tirras orchestrated by Johan.
Description
Hazezon Tamar had hazel-colored eyes. His skin was as dark as tanned leather and was covered with a white mustache and beard. He was of middling girth and advancing years. Hazezon wore the traditional garb of Jamuraa's desert seacoast: a loose robe of pale brown deftly embroidered, a keffiyeh head scarf of white as befit a ruler, and a multicaped cloak of amber stitched with gold thread. A brass-hiked scimitar was shoved through his sash, a trapping of office, but his real weapon was his mind. His horse was named Belladonna.[2]
Hazezon's official title was Tetrarch of the Free Realm of Bryce, but he went by many titles, including the governor, lord paramount, suzerain, and the old-fashioned pasha. He is known to make referential exclamations instead of cursing. These include: "Tower of the Tabernacle!", "Great Defender!", "Jewels of Jasmine!", "Mercy of the Mothers!", "Eye of Orms-By-Gore!, "Khabal's ghoul!", "Scarzam's dragon!", "Lady Evangela give me strength!", "By the beard of Boris!", and "Beard of Ragnar!"[2]
History
Hazezon rallied his ex-wife Adira Strongheart and her Robaran Mercenaries with the aid of Jaeger Ojanen, a strange tiger man of the forest of Efrava. After Jaeger's death, Hazezon allied with Jaeger's son, Jedit Ojanen, eventually ending Johan's War by ensuring his death.
