Whistledove Kithkin was a kithkin rogue from Amrou Haven who lived around 3334 AR on Jamuraa, Dominaria.

Description

Although she is described as many things by others who see her, including fairykin, brownie, and halfling, her description and name reveal her as a kithkin. With smooth red hair and a billowy shirt and pantaloons in pink and purple, she resembled a child dressed for court, yet her rapier stung like a cobra. This description matches the art of Amrou Kithkin closely.[1]

History

Whistledove was a refugee rescued from the fabulous sandstorm conjured by Hazezon Tamar, which smothered Johan's army during the Battle of Palmyra. Afterward, she joined Adira Strongheart's Circle of Seven, participating in the hunt of Johan after his return from Efrava with Jedit Ojanen. With the entire party, she crossed the Western Wastes and was momentarily halted by the Great Wall. Sending half the party, including Whistledove onwards, Hazezon Tamar cast a Teleport spell on them to reach the top of the wall, while he and his retinue stayed behind. Whistledove then traveled through Arboria to Buzzard's Bay, where she stayed a night at the Adventurers' Guildhouse. After helping put out the fires set by Darswin and his crew, Whistledove boarded the ship captained by Edsen. This trip went through a series of ill fortune, first being attacked by Captain Rimon's pirates, then being almost sucked into a maelstrom, then being attacked by a Devouring Deep, before running into a cyclone and being tossed against the sharp rocks in the water outside the Goat's Walk. Whistledove survived it all, being rescued by Beckoner and her merfolk from the reef, and joining her party to Shauku's dominion in Arboria. After descending deep into the tunnels beneath the ruined castle, Whistledove joined the confrontation against the immortal vampire. Shauku proved Whistledove's undoing, however, as she cast a killing spell on the kithkin, draining her of her soul in an instant.[1] Her slot in the Circle of Seven was later taken by the Aerathi berserker Vicia.[2]
