A Master of the Hunt is a human demigod who has developed a particular type of bond with a specific type of animal on Dominaria.
Description
A Master of the Hunt is bonded both to a type of animal and to an area. In 3334 AR, there was a Master of the Hunt on the Cocobar Islands that was bonded with a pack of cheetahs. He had a divine look about him, two meters tall and amazingly handsome, he was almost naked, wearing only a leather loincloth. He had the power of healing, and cured Jedit Ojanen of the serious wounds he had suffered in his fight against Ur-Drago.[1]
At that same time, another Master of the Hunt was said to dwell in the far north woods, wearing deer antlers and accompanied by white hounds. Another dark demigod of the jungles lived surrounded by wild boars, and a wonderful woman sporting scales and gills swam the seas with killer whales.[1]
