Syr Cadian, the Knight Owl, is a legendary bird knight from an unknown plane of the Un-iverse.

Description

Syr Cadian appears as a regular-looking white feathered owl who wears a metal knight's helmet with a red feather on the top. They have been seen standing upon a sword with their feet on the hilt, implying they may be able to wield it in battle. The name and mechanics of Syr Cadian are a play on circadian rhythm, the natural process that regulates the sleep-wake cycle and repeats roughly every 24 hours, and "night owl", a person who tends to stay up until late at night. Their title of Syr is a genderless honorific for a knight commonly used on Eldraine, which may be Cadian's home plane.
