Forest is one of the five basic land types and provides green mana.
Description
Forests are needed to cast green spells.[1] There is also snow variant of the basic land, the Snow-Covered Forest.
Forest is the most often used basic land type, since it appears outside of cycles:
- Dryad Arbor (Future Sight), which is also the only true land creature.
- Murmuring Bosk (Morningtide), which is also the only tri-colored tribal land.[2]
