Description

The 2025 event cards feature playtest stickers, looking and functioning like the test cards of the Mystery Booster set. Being playtest stickers, the cards have no art, artist credits, or Collector number, and are marked with internal card codes. Starting with MagicCon Chicago the set code printed on the cards was changed from DA1, an internal code used for cards not part of any set, to UNK.

Chicago 2025 cards

A total of 45 new cards were designed for this event by Gavin and the team. Two cards were designed at the You Make the Card panel on the Friday before the first event. Prior to starting their matches, players were asked to pick either Team Cloudspire (headed by Chandra) or Team Speed Demons (headed by Winter). Each match win scored points for the team and the team with the most points across all three days won the event. The "team choice" cycle of spells appears to be an incomplete cycle, missing the red member.

Htbr, Racetrack Referee	RW02	Legendary Creature — Homunculus Players can't cast spells by paying alternative costs or without paying their mana costs (Additional costs are still okay. Anything that replaces the mana cost like flashback or madness is not.) 2/2	References "hate bears".
Unstickerify	UW01	Enchantment — Aura Enchant permanent If enchanted permanent isn't a stickered playtest card, it can't attack or block. If enchanted permanent is a stickered playtest card, treat it as the card beneath its sticker. If it's unclear without peeling the sticker, treat it as a Wastes. (Mystery Booster playtest cards count as stickered.)	References stickers.
You, Iterative Playtester	MW02	Legendary Creature — Human Gamer : Choose another target playtest card. Increase or decrease a number of your choice on it by 1 for as long as it remains on the stack or battlefield. (You can change numerals or number words.) : Reveal the top eight cards of your library. Put each playtest card among them into your hand. Put the rest on the bottom of your library in a random order. 1/3	A reprint of You, Magic Playtester, the prize card from MagicCon Las Vegas 2023, with small functional differences.
Chic // Ago	CU12	Instant Put a +1/+1 counter on target creature. It gains hexproof until end of turn. If it's sophisticated, draw a card. (A creature is sophisticated if its name contains fifteen or more letters.) // Instant Put target creature on top of its owner's library. MagicConsecrated Sphinx	RU06	Creature — Sphinx Flying Whenever an opponent draws a card, choose one that hasn't been chosen— Make Friends — Create a 1/1 colorless Gamer creature token. Find Cards — Investigate. Win Prize Tickets — Create a Treasure token. Go to Sleep — Exile this creature, then return it to the battlefield under its owner's control. 4/6	A pun on "MagicCon" and Consecrated Sphinx.
Rinta, Cousin of Sitka	RU04	Legendary Creature — Human Wizard Playtest cards you cast cost less to cast. Whenever you cast a playtest card, draw a card. 3/3	The card's name is a callback to Stika, Playtestress from MagicCon Las Vegas 2023.
Team Mage	UU03	Creature — Human Wizard When Team Mage enters, search you library for an artifact card with mana value 4 or greater if you're on Team Cloudspire or an artifact card with mana value 3 or less if you're on Team Speed Demons. Reveal that card, put it into your hand, then shuffle. 2/2	References the battle between the teams in the Second Ghirapur Grand Prix and the Artifact Mage mega cycle.
Where We're Going ...	UU11	Instant Put a flying counter on target creature or Vehicle. Draw a card.	The card is a reference to Doc Emmett Brown's line at the beginning of Back to the Future Part II, "Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads."
Windy City Aven	UU04	Creature — Bird Wizard Flying Ascend MagicCon: Chicago (If you attended MagicCon: Chicago and control ten or more permanents, you get the Windy City's blessing for the rest of the game.) Whenever this creature attacks, if you have the Windy City's blessing, create a 1/1 blue Bird creature token with flying. 4/3	"Windy City" is a well-known nickname for Chicago, the location of the MagicCon where this card was introduced.
Davvol's Birthdaymobile	RB13	Artifact — Vehicle This spell costs less to cast if an Elf died this turn or a Soldier entered this turn. Whenever this Vehicle enters or attacks, target opponent creates a Carnival of Souls token. Crew 2 "You did remember!" —Davvol, Evincar of Rath 4/4	References Davvol, his actions during the Weatherlight Saga, and the now-iconic line of flavor text from Carnival of Souls (Urza's Destiny).
The Multifaceted Phyrexian	RB03	Legendary Creature — Phyrexian Ninja Protection from Elk Pay 1 life, Sacrifice another creature: Target creature an opponent controls becomes a 3/3 green Elk creature. (This effect lasts indefinitely.) Fixed commander ninjutsu—, Discard a card (It's like commander ninjutsu, but the commander tax applies. Sorry but I learned from Yuriko.) 2/4	References cosplay artist YawgGoth. A cross between Oko, Thief of Crowns and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, with a dabble of Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. The card acknowledges some of the issues with commander ninjutsu and why it has only appeared on one card.
Team Perseverance	UB02	Instant Team Cloudspire—Target creature gets +2/+0 and gains indestructible until end of turn. Draw a card. Team Speed Demons—Return one or two target creature cards from your graveyard to your hand.	Part of the "team choice" cycle.
Would You Have Done the Same?	UB11	Instant Cast this spell only if you control a creature. Destroy target creature. That creature's controller may create an Arrest token attached to a creature you control. (It's a copy of the card Arrest.)	References TBA.
Char-Dog	RR03	Artifact Creature — Dog Food Protection from red When this creature enters, it deals 4 damage to any target and 2 damage to you. , , Sacrifice this creature: You gain 3 life. 1/1	A Char and a Food token, rolled into one. Represents Chicagoans' love of hot dogs.
Establishing Shot	CR11	Instant Establishing shot deals 2 damage to any target. If this is the first spell you've cast this game, it deals 3 damage instead.	References the cinematic technique to convey location, typically the first thing seen for a film.
Fast // Furious	CR15	Instant Target creature gains haste until end of turn. It can't be blocked this turn except by Vehicles or by creatures with haste. // Instant Target creature gets +3/+0 until end of turn. Fuse (You may cast one or both halves of this card from your hand.)	Part of the Fuse cycle. When talking about split cards, as opposed to writing them down, Design uses the naming convention of "_____ and _____", making this card a direct reference to the Fast & Furious film franchise. It shares its name with the previously printed split card in Modern Horizons 2.
Mana Max, Afterburner	RR04	Legendary Creature — Human Survivor Pilot At the beginning of each player's end step, Mana Max deals damage to that player equal to the number of untapped lands they control. Whenever a player loses one or more unspent mana, each of that player's opponents creates a Treasure token. 4/4	References Mad Max. The card's first ability is a reference to Citadel of Pain (Prophecy).
Mijo, the Bull	RR03	Legendary Creature — Ox Athlete When Mijo enters, create a colorless Equipment artifact token named Rock with "Equipped creature has ", : Sacrifice Rock: This creature deals 2 damage to any target." and equip . From Downtown—If a source you control would deal exactly 2 damage to a permanent or player, it deals 3 damage instead. 2/3	References the legendary basketball player of the Chicago Bulls (or Ox) Michael Jordan, using the R&D naming scheme. The 2-to-3 damage ability refers to the two- and three-point shots in basketball.
Need for Speed (Not the Odyssey One)	RR04	Enchantment Start your engines! As long as your speed is 1 or higher, creatures you control have haste. The same is true for speed 2 and higher and trample, speed 3 or higher and first strike, and speed 4 and higher and super haste. (You may put a creature with super haste from your hand onto the battlefield tapped and attacking during your declare attackers step. You may pay its mana cost any time during your next turn. At the beginning of that turn's end step, if you haven't paid its mana cost, you lose the game. Wait. 4 and higher?)	References the Speed mechanic, the previous cards Need for Speed and Erase (Not the Urza's Legacy One), and the Need for Speed racing game franchise. Super haste was last seen on Rocket-Powered Turbo Slug (Unhinged).
Now THIS Is Aether Racing	CR12	Instant Team Cloudspire—This spell deals 3 damage to any target. Team Speed Demons—Exile the top two cards of your library. You may play those cards until your next end step.	Part of the "team choice" cycle. References the line "Now this is podracing." from Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace.
Rafi, Retro Racer	RR04	Legendary Creature — Dinosaur Pilot When Rafi enters and at the beginning of the first upkeep in a game where it's your commander, there's mana burn and combat damage uses the stack for the rest of the game. (If you don't know what that means, ask somebody over 30.) , Sacrifice Rafi: Each player adds . 3/3	An Old Fogey-style reference to the Comprehensive Rules prior to the release of Magic 2010 in 2009. Combat damage on the stack allows players to attack or block with a creature, put the combat damage on the stack, and then sacrifice that creature to a spell or ability in response. The creature will still deal its combat damage despite already being in the graveyard.
Just a Li'l Guy	RG11	Instant Target creature gains hexproof and indestructible until end of turn. That creature is 1/1 until end of turn and can't be anything other than 1/1 until end of turn. (No matter what happens to it, it'll still be a 1/1.)	References the "Just a silly little guy" meme.
Peel Out	CG12	Instant Prevent all combat damage that would be dealt this turn. Create a colorless artifact token named Banana with ", Sacrifice this token: Add or . You gain 2 life."	A pun on "peel out" (to speed away from a place in a vehicle) and to peel a banana. The Banana token was last seen on Kibo, Uktabi Prince (Jumpstart 2022).
Retto, Family Racer	RG02	Legendary Creature — Human Pilot Before the game begins, if this is your commander or in your deck, secretly write down the named of five creature cards to be part of your family. As members of your family enters, you may say "Nothing is stronger than family" and reveal its name from your list. That creature enters with two +1/+1 counters on it. 2/2	References the fictional character Dominic "Dom" Toretto of the Fast & Furious racing/heist movie franchise. The card's abilities are references to the character's desire to "put family first".
Team Acceleration	UG02	Sorcery Team Cloudspire—Create two 1/1 white Warrior creature tokens. Team Speed Demons—Search your library for a basic land card, put it onto the battlefield tapped, then shuffle.	Part of the "team choice" cycle.
Underdog Racer	CG05	Creature — Dog Pilot This spell costs less to cast if your team is currently behind. (If neither player can see the scoreboard or easily verify, that means it's Schrodinger's race and you're in a quantum superposition of maybe losing and so this costs less.) When this creature enters, destroy target artifact an opponent controls. 5/5	References the concept of an "underdog" and Rubber-Band A.I. in racing games. Also references quantum mechanics and the thought experiment "Schrödinger's cat."
The Fact Checker	RZ03	Legendary Creature — Human Wizard If you would guess a card, instead just choose the outcome you want. At the beginning of each opponent's upkeep, look at the top card of their library. Tell them the name of that card. They tell you its mana cost, type line, power, and toughness. Then reveal that card. If they got anything wrong, draw a card. 3/3	References comedian, actor, and musician Brian David Gilbert, who works as the series fact checker for the Dropout show Um, Actually. It is the counterpart to Ify Nwadiwe's The Actualizer.
Gomif, Fast Racer	RZ03	Legendary Creature — Human Pilot Start your engines! Gomif's power is equal to your speed. Your speed can increase beyond 4. (You're still at max speed at 4 or greater.) At the beginning of your end step, if an opponent lost life this turn, you may draw cards equal to your speed. If you do, discard two cards. */2	References Speed Racer and its title character, Go Mifune.
The Good Time Sleuth	RZ05	Legendary Creature — Human? When The Good Time Sleuth enters, exile the top card of your library and each nontoken creature you control in a face-down pile, shuffle that pile, then manifest those cards. Then create a Blood token for each face-down creature you control. Those creature gain "Sacrifice a Blood: Turn this creature face up." Secretly choose one of them. As that creature is turned face up, reveal the choice and it becomes a 5/5 black Demon. 3/3	References Becca Scott's channel Good Time Society and their playthroughs of Blood on the Clocktower, a social deduction game with the enemy being a hidden demon.
Jiffy, Vehicle Repairer	RZ02	Legendary Creature — Dwarf Artificer Vehicles in your graveyard have jump-start. (You may cast a Vehicle card from your graveyard by discarding a card in addition to paying its other costs. You would exile it, except...) Spells you cast with jump-start aren't exiled. 3/2	A pun on the Jump-start mechanic having the same name as the action used to recharge a car battery. The card's name may be a play on the phrase "in a jiffy" or a reference to the American automotive shop Jiffy Lube.
The Mox Painter	RZ03	Legendary Creature — Human Artist , : Choose a tournament-legal Mox you don't control at random. Create a token that's a copy of it. Then if you control all ten, create a Mox Lotus token. (The ten are Amber, Chrome, Diamond, Emerald, Jet, Opal, Pearl, Ruby, Sapphire, and Tantalite. Perhaps roll a d10?) : Untap The Mox Painter. 1/4	References artist Dan Frazier, who has done an illustration for every Mox except Mox Amber and Mox Lotus. A mega version of the Mox Collectors cycle from Alchemy: Thunder Junction.
Sue, Everlasting Dinosaur	RZ06	Legendary Creature — Dinosaur Trample Each Creature card in your graveyard has fossilize. Its fossilize cost is equal to its mana cost minus . Fossilize (Return this card from your graveyard to the battlefield with a finality counter on it. It's an artifact and not a creature.) 7/6	Represents Sue (FMNH PR 2081), one of the largest, most complete, and best preserved Tyrannosaurus rex fossils ever found. Sue is housed at the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago.
X, Mystery Racer	RZ05	Legendary Creature — Human Spy When X enters, you may put it into target opponent's hand. If you do, as long as it remains in their hand, that player can't cast cast X and they play with their hand revealed. During your turn while X is in an opponent's hand, you may activate abilities of nonland permanents opponents control. If you activate the crew or saddle ability of a permanent this way, gain control of it until end of turn. Untap it. It gains haste until end of turn. 5/5	References the Agents of S.N.E.A.K. agent X (Unstable) as well as the mystery racer from the Speed Racer franchise, Racer X.
The Zabulous Cosplayer	RZ04	Legendary Creature — Human Shapeshifter As The Zabulous Cosplayer enters and at the beginning of your upkeep, choose a tournament-legal non-Aura permanent card at random. The Zabulous Cosplayer becomes a copy of that card, except it has this ability. (Use the "random card" feature on a Magic card search engine until you hit a permanent card.) 0/0	References cosplay artist Whitney W. (Zabracus).
Aetherflux Car	UA02	Artifact — Vehicle Flying Whenever you cast a spell, put charge counters equal to four times that spell's mana value on this Vehicle. Remove 121 charge counters from this Vehicle: Take an extra turn after this one. Crew 1 3/2	The card is a reference to the Delorean Time machine in Back to the Future Part I, needing 1.21 gigawatts of power to time travel.
Chandra's Dragonmech	RA05	Artifact Creature — Dragon You can't include this card in your deck if you're on Team Speed Demons. Flying Whenever this creature deals combat damage to a player, create a copy one of the following, chosen at random: Chandra's Fury, Chandra's Ignition, Chandra's Magmutt, Chandra's Regulator, Chandra's Spitfire, or Chandra's Outrage. You may cast the copy without paying its mana cost. 4/4	Mirrored pair with Winter's Demonmech. References Chandra's role as the co-captain of Cloudspire Racing Team.
Item Crate	CA02	Artifact , , Sacrifice this artifact: Create a tapped colorless token at random with the listed name and ability. Banana with ", Sacrifice this token: Add or . You gain 2 life." Kibo's Bananamobile	UA05	Legendary Artifact — Vehicle When this Vehicle enters, create three colorless artifact tokes named Banana with ", Sacrifice this token: Add or . You gain 2 life." Whenever you sacrifice a Banana, you may have it deal 2 damage to target attacking creature. Crew 1 6/6	References Kibo.
Moth Herb Elixir	UA01	Artifact : Put an acquired taste counter on this artifact. , Sacrifice this artifact: You draw two cards and lose 4 life. Then you gain 1 life for each acquired taste counter on this artifact.	References Malört.
Winter's Demonmech	RA05	Artifact Creature — Horror You can't include this card in your deck if you're on Team Cloudspire. Flying Whenever this creature deals combat damage to a player, create a copy of one of the following, chosen at random: Early Winter, Plunge into Winter, Winterflame, Winter Sky, Winter's Grasp, or Winter's Intervention. You may cast the copy without paying its mana cost. 4/4	Mirrored pair with Chandra's Dragonmech. A Winter-themed card. Some versions of the card, but not all, were printed with the power and toughness box missing.
_____	RL01	Land When you play this land for the first time, its name forever becomes a creature type and a noncreature card type of your choice belonging to your first name. (For example, Gavin's Dragon and Sorceries. Make sure to fill in the name so everyone knows where they're shopping.) : Add . : Add one mana of any color. Spend this mana only to cast spells of the chosen types or spells whose names begin with the first letter of your name.	This land has no name initially. The land's naming convention ability is a reference to quick naming of Dungeons & Dragons shops.
The Mystery Raceway	RZ11	Land Start your engines! : Add . Max Speed—, : Mill seven cards. Choose a playtest card from among them. You may cast it without paying its mana cost. If Team Cloudspire won the race, copy it and you may choose new targets for the copy. If Team Speed Demons won the race, each opponent loses life equal to its mana value. The Mystery Raceway can be your commander. Prize Card for the Unknown events at MagicCon Chicago, February 21-23, 2025	The prize card for all three days of the event. The card itself is a continuation of the Raceway cycle from Aetherdrift. Team Speed Demons won the race.
Reflective Gate	UL03	Artifact Land — Gate Food : Add . : Add one mana of any color that shares a color with a permanent a player controls. , , Sacrifice this land: You gain 3 life.	References Anish Kapoor's famed Chicago Loop sculpture Cloud Gate, constructed in reflective stainless steel; it is better known as "The Bean" due to its shape. As such, it refers to Bean being a Food, having the abilities of Reflecting Pool, and being a Gate.

Las Vegas 2025 cards

The Faction Dragon	MZ03	Legendary Creature — Dragon Flying If The Faction Dragon is your commander, choose a faction during deck building. This card's mana cost is that faction's mana symbols. (For exaple, if you choose Abzan, it costs .) Spells you cast with the chosen faction's watermark cost less to cast. Other creatures you control with the chosen faction's watermark get +1/+1. Prize Card for the Unknown events at MagicCon: Las Vegas, June 20-22. 4/3	The prize card for all three days of the event. The card is designed around the five clans of Tarkir but can be used for any faction with a watermark. This runs into problems for factions not designed around a specific color combination, like the Phyrexians or the Mirrans. This card is colorless and has no mana cost until it is added to a deck, at which point it will gain the chosen characteristics. Wizards of the Coast included in the multicolored grouping (letter code "Z") to indicate this.
New Magic Game Plus	RC08	Sorcery Exile New Magic Game Plus, then restart the game, except leave lands and Equipment on the battlefield and leave this card in exile.	The card acts as a New Game Plus, allowing players to start the game over but with the resources they accumulated in the old, original game.
Twenty Lessons	UA03	Sorcery Cast a random Lesson spell without paying its mana cost. If that spell has X in its mana cost, X is 3. (As of today, there are 20 lessons. Perhaps look up a list and roll a d20?)	References both Mark Rosewater's "20 Years, 20 Lessons Learned" presentation at the 2016 Game Developers Conference and the Lesson spells from Strixhaven: School of Mages. Despite being a colorless sorcery, the card has artifact listed in its card file number and uses the artifact card frame.
Devoted Mardu	UW05	Creature — Human Warrior Vigilance Mobilize X, where X is your devotion to Mardu. (Whenever you attack, create X tapped and attacking Mardudes (tapped and attacking 1/1 red Warrior creature tokens). Sacrifice them at the beginning of the next end step. I'm out of room. You remember what devotion does, right? Counts , , and !) 5/3	Part of the Devoted cycle.
Naming Screen	RW06	Enchantment As a creature token you control enters, name it using up to four letters. (It keeps its types. It just has a new name. Remember this is a family event.) When this enchantment enters, create four 1/1 colourless Hero tokens. Each creature you control that doesn't share a name with any other creature you control gets +1/+1.	References naming members of your party in role-playing games.
Out of Town	UW11	Enchantment When this enchantment enters, exile target creature an opponent controls until this enchantment leaves the battlefield. When a Town controlled by the owner of the exiled card enters, sacrifice this enchantment.	References TBA.
Rideable Mantis	UW03	Creature — Insect Mount Whenever Rideable Mantis attacks, it gains flying until end of turn if it was saddled by a blue creature this turn. It gains trample until end of turn if it was saddled by a red creature this turn. If it was saddled by a white creature this turn, untap it. Saddle 1 3/3	References Mantis Rider being a Human rather than the mantis. It "becomes" Mantis Rider when saddled by a (Jeskai) creature.
Save Point	RW02	Enchantment When this enchantment enters, draw a card. Sacrifice this enchantment: Remove each creature from combat and untap each creature that attacked this turn. There is an additional combat phase after this one. Activate only during combat before combat damage has been dealt.	Represents the common use of save points in video games. The card's sacrifice ability allows its controller to practice savescumming.
You're Toast!	UW13	Instant Exile target nonland permanent. Its controller manifests bread. (They look at the top two cards of thier library and put one into their graveyard and the other onto the battlefield face down as a Food artifact with ", , Sacrifice this artifact: You gain 3 life." It can't be turned face up. It's bread.)	A pun on manifest dread.
Blu, Mansion Prince	RU04	Legendary Creature — Human Noble Whenever this creature enters or attacks, investigate. Whenever you sacrifice a Clue, choose a Room card at random. Create a token that's a copy of one of its halves, then unlock it. (There are currently 30 Room cards.) 2/3	Designed by Chris Mooney. References the game Blue Prince.
Devoted Jeskai	UU04	Creature — Bird Monk Flying When this creature enters, you may return target creature an opponent controls with mana value X or less to its owners hand, where X is your devotion to Jeskai. (Each , , or in the mana costs of permanents you control counts towards your devotion to Jeskai.) 3/4	Part of the Devoted cycle.
Dialogue Tree	UU01	Sorcery Scry 1. When you do, choose one — Yes, I understand my mission.—Draw a card. Could you repeat that again?—Exile Dialogue Tree. Return it to its owner's hand at the beginning of the next end step.	References the programming of dialogue in many RPGs that loops exposition if the player didn't catch it all the first time.
Fear of Forgetting Names	UU04	Enchantment Creature — Nightmare When this creature enters, target creature loses its name. Creatures you control have protection from creatures with no names. 3/4	References the fear of forgetting someone's name.
Higher Level Zone Monster	UU03	Creature — Shapeshifter You may have this creature enter as a copy of any creature on the battlefield, except it enters with an additional +1/+1 counter on it and it's the colors of your choice in addition to its other colors. 0/0	References higher-leveled enemies encountered in open-world games when entering the wrong zone.

Vamping Vampire	UB03	Creature — Vampire Advisor Flying, lifelink Plot Whenever you cast a spell while this card is exiled, put a stall counter on it. When this creature enters, it deals damage equal to the number of stall counters that were on it to target creature an opponent controls. 2/2	References "vamping," a term meaning stalling for time.
Yet Another Night in Vegas	RB04	Enchantment At the beginning of your upkeep, choose one that hasn't been chosen— See the sights—Surveil 3. Cause trouble—Target creature gets +1/+0 and gains menace until end of turn. Get lost—Each player exiles a creature they control until this enchantment leaves the battlefield. I'm fine! Let's go again!—All modes reset and can be chosen again. You lose 5 life. Go to bed—Sacrifice this enchantment.	The third entry in mega-mega cycle of Night Out in Vegas and Another Night Out in Vegas. Like its predecessors, it's a take on Demonic Pact and the saying "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas."
Advanced Tactics	RR04	Enchantment When this enchantment enters, create a 5x5 grid for as long as it remains on the battlefield. Starting with the top left space and skipping every other space, choose a random creature and put it in the grid. As a creature enters, its controller puts it in an empty space. Creatures can't block creatures they aren't orthogonally adjacent to. : Move target creature you control one space left, right, up, or down. Any player may activate this ability.	The card turns the battlefield into the isometric grid field used by Final Fantasy Tactics for its battle system.
Brutal Command	RR14	Instant Choose two— Create a Gingerbrute token. (Yes, it's technically red life gain. Sorry, color pie.) Create a Brute Suit token. Create a The Brute token, then attach it to a creature you control. Cast a copy of Brute Strength without paying its mana cost.	A Command spell whose modes are built around cards with the word "brute" in them.
Devoted Temur	UR03	Creature — Orc Ranger Haste When this creature enters, target creature gets +X/+X until end of turn, where X is your devotion to Temur. (Each , , or in the mana cost of permanents you control counts towards your devotion to Temur.) 2/2	Part of the Devoted cycle.
Tragda, the Burner	RR07	Legendary Creature — Dragon Human Flying Whenever a land card is put into a graveyard from anywhere, put tow +1/+1 counters on Tragda. Whenever Tragda attacks, choose one— Burn the village—Destroy target land. Burn the peasants—Tragda deals 4 damage to target creature. 6/6	References Homestar Runner character Trogdor the Burninator.
Devoted Sultai	UG03	Creature — Snake Druid When this creature enters, you may return target card from your graveyard with mana value X or less to your hand where X is your devotion to Sultai. (Each , , or in the mana cost of permanents you control counts towards your devotion those colors.) 3/3	Part of the Devoted cycle.
Stormscale Wurm	RG06	Creature — Wurm Trample Other Wurms you control get +1/+1. Storm (When you cast this spell, copy it for each spell cast before it this turn. The copies become tokens.) GV 7/18 Why isn't anybody on Tarkir talking about wurmstorms?? MR 7/22 We don't talk about the wurmstorms. 6/6	References Stormscale Scion.
You and Ooze Army?	UG04	Sorcery Amass Oozes X, where X is the number of creature types among creatures on the battlefield. Don't count changelings. That would be ridiculous. (To amass Oozes X, put X +1/+1 counters on an Army you control. It's also an Ooze. If you don't control an Army, create a 0/0 black Ooze Army creature token first.)	References the taunt "You and what army?". The pun is based on the alternate phrasing, "You and whose army?"
The Brewing Chef	RZ05	Legendary Creature — Human Chef When The Brewing Chef enters, look at the top six cards of your library. You may reveal a card from among them that creates a token and put it into your hand. Put the rest on the bottom of your library in a random order. Creature tokens you control get +1/+1 for each differently named token you control. 3/3	References Magic content creator, Brewer's Kitchen.
The Game-Changing Host	RZ05	Legendary Creature — Human Wizard Anything that could have changed The Game-Changing Host on the turn it enters applies retroactively. (He's been here the whole time.) : Create a copy of a game changer at random. You may play the copy without paying its mana cost. (There are currently 61. Perhaps look at a list and randomize?) 4/4	References Dropout CEO Sam Reich, who hosts the comedy panel game show Game Changer. The card's tap ability is play on the Dropout show's name and the Game Changers list used in Commander as an indicator of high-power for Commander deck construction. Matt Tabak has ruled that the card's first ability is limited in scope to only the turn it enters the battlefield, not the entire game prior.
The Herald of Numot	RZ03	Legendary Creature — Dragon Double strike, vigilance, haste Whenever The Herald of Numot deals combat damage to a player, create a Numot, the Devastator token card and shuffle it into your library. Numot, the Devastators you control have vigilance and haste, and the "legend rule" doesn't apply to them. 1/3	References Magic pro player and content creator, Kenji Egashira (NumotTheNummy).
Red and Black Legac	UZ02	Creature — Lizard If you spent black mana on this creature, it enters with a deathtouch counter. If you spent red mana on this creature, it enters with a first strike counter. If you spent both, you choose which one counter it enters with. At the beginning of your upkeep, flip a coin. If it's heads and this creature has deathtouch, or it's tails and this creature has haste, create a treasure token. 2/1	References TBA. The card had a last-minute change as spending red mana gives the Legac a first strike counter, but its coin flip ability looks for haste.
The River Warlock	RZ04	Legendary Creature — Human Warlock During your turn, The River Warlock has flying, lifelink, and indestructible. Whenever The River Warlock attacks, you and defending player each draw a card, then discard a card. If you discarded a card with equal or greater mana value than the card that player discarded, look at their hand. Exile a nonland card from it until The River Warlock leaves the battlefield. 1/1	References content creator Nile Joan Rivers.
Shen, Wish Granter	RZ04	Legendary Creature — Dragon Defender, flying When Shen enters, if you haven't scattered the Dragonstorm Globes this game, scatter them. (Create seven Dragonstorm Globe token cards and shuffle them into your library.) Whenever a permanent named Dragonstorm Globe you control enters, draw a card. Then if you control seven permanents named Dragonstorm Globe, you win the game. 6/6	The card is a refrence to Shenron of the Dragon Ball franchise. The card's ability turns Dragonstorm Globe into the titular Dragon Balls.
The Sprinkler of Stardust	RZ04	Legendary Creature — Human Warrior Whenever The Sprinkler of Stardust attacks, look at the top six cards of your library. You may put an instant or sorcery card from among them onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. It becomes a 2/2 creature with "Whenever this creature deals combat damage to a player, cast a copy of this card without paying its mana cost." (The 2/2 creature stays on the battlefield.) Put the rest on the bottom of your library in a random order. 4/4	Reprint from the Chicago 2024 event. The card recieved errata for the ability it gives the 2/2 instant or sorcery creature. Players no longer have to pay the mana cost when casting the copy. The ability has been updated to trigger when dealing combat damage to any player, rather than just opponents. Represents Lua Stardust, cohost of Scrybabies. The card is a callback to Winota, Joiner of Forces but for instant and sorcery cards.
Tarkiran Towelsbane	RZ05	Legendary Creature — Shark Rebel When Tarkiran enters, create five 1/1 red Human Rebel creature tokens. Whenever one or more Rebels you control deal combat damage to a player, you gain 2 life. 2/2	References TBA.
The Vegetable Car	RZ02	Legendary Artifact — Vehicle Onionfect (This creature deals damage in the form of giving you Food tokens.) At the beginning of your end step, put X +1/+1 counters on target creature you control, where X is the number of Foods you've sacrificed this turn. Crew 1 The Vegetable Car can be your commander. 3/3	References Magic content creator VeggieWagon. The Car's ability is a play on infect. The vehicle can be your commander as a reference to VeggieWagon's role as co-host of Decked Out, a Commander gameplay show.
Your Favorite Missing Character	UZ03	Legendary Creature During deckbuilding, choose any two colors, up to three creature types, a new name, and one of the following abilities for this card to have. When this creature enters, put a +1/+1 counter on target creature or a lore counter on target Saga you control. At the beginning of your upkeep, surveil 1. Equip costs you pay cost less. Whenever you cast a noncreature spell, this creature deals 1 damage to each opponent. 2/2	The card pokes fun at the scope of the Final Fantasy set covering all sixteen main series entries. With so many characters, many were not able to be represented on cards and this allows players to add their favourite in. The card's four abilities all represent or interact with the mechanical themes of the set.
Color Pie	CA11	Artifact — Food , , Sacrifice this artifact: You gain 3 life. Draw a card. Exile up to one target card from a graveyard. This artifact deals 1 damage to each opponent. Target player adds one mana of any color.	The color pie is one of the Golden Trifecta, the foundational elements of Magic: The Gathering. Each of the effects represents a core mechanic for each color. While the card is a colorless artifact, it was printed with a blue-colored frame.
The Mysterious Sphere	RA05	Legendary Artifact Advertising—: Exile the top card of your library. You gain 1 life. Show—At the beginning of combat on your turn, if there are three or more cards exiled with The Mysterious Sphere, you may put them into your graveyard. If you do, create copies of each nonland card among them. You may cast the copies without paying their mana costs. If you cast a creature spell this way, it gains haste and "Sacrifice this creature at the beginning of your end step."	Represents the Sphere in Paradise, Nevada.

They all fit within this Commander's color identity. 1: Create one resource of any type. (Mana or otherwise.) Prize Card for the Unknown events at GenCon, July 31-August 3, 2025. 5/5	The prize card for all four days of the event. Allows any collectible card game card to be used in a game of Magic.
Efteekay, Flame of the Kav	RZ05	Legendary Creature — Kavu Soldier Eminence—As long as Efteekay is in the command zone or on the battlefield, other Kavu spells you cast cost less to cast. Whenever Efteekay or another Kavu you control enters, it deals damage equal to its power to target creature. 4/2	The card's name is the written pronunciation of "FTK", a reference to Flametongue Kavu (Planeshift). The card's second ability turns all Kavu into Flametongue Kavu.
Frie, Displaced in Time	RZ03	Legendary Creature — Human Citizen Whenever a card is exiled because it was warped, put three time counters on it. It gains suspend. 3/3	Magic's take on the Futurama character Philip J. Fry.
Monet, Sensei of the Sewers	RZ06	Legendary Creature — Rat Ninja Mutant Fixed commander ninjutsu (It's commander ninjutsu, except the command tax applies, like it should have originally.) When Monet enters, create four 1/1 green Turtle creature tokens with training. If Monet was ninjutsu'd, those tokens enter tapped and attacking. (Whenever a creature with training attacks with another creature with greater power, put a +1/+1 counter on it. This doesn't work if it enteres tapped and attacking.) 4/4	A Magic allusion to Splinter of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise.
Pirk, Heroic Captain	RZ03	Legendary Creature — Human Pilot When Pirk enters, create a legendary Spacecraft token. It's a 2/2 with flying at 6+. Name it. Whenever you fully station a Spacecraft, draw a card. (A Spacecraft is fully stationed when you unlock its highest station number.) 2/2	References the Star Trek character of Captain James T. Kirk. The card's ability allows the player to create one of the many starships of Starfleet. The card's ability doesn't define a color for the token, making it colorless. It also doesn't define, but rather implies, the token has station.
Syx, Robot Overlord	RZ02	Legendary Creature — Robot Rogue Before this game begins, if this is your commander, secretly write down the name of five nonartifact creature cards in your deck to be invaders. Reveal them after the game. At the beginning of your upkeep, target opponent may guess if a creature you control is an invader. If they guess right, exile that creature. If they guess wrong, they lose 3 life. Then you may reveal the name of an invader you control. If you do, put two +1/+1 counters on it. It becomes a Robot artifact creature. 2/2	References the 2004 TV series Battlestar Galactica and the story arc of the Cylon Number Six.
