Golthonor (GULL-thun-ohr) is the region occupying the eastern portion of Corondor.[1] In antiquity, this territory was known as the Iron Kingdom, a title reflecting its early political identity. The land was especially well known for its distinctive natural features, which included vast sand seas and extensive salt marshes.

Xarl's family lived under their protection for a time until they were expelled after his mother was caught stealing from worshipers.
