Kreig was the Witch King of Keld on Dominaria. He was the most powerful Keldon of all time; the product of the Bloodline Project and Gatha's genetic splicing of Keldon and Phyrexian stock.[1]
Description
Kreig was huge, far taller than 7 feet and bigger than any other Keldon during his long lifetime. He had long dark hair in braids. [1]
History
Kreig was born as part of Gatha's own Bloodline Project. Kreig's power was unmatched by other Keldons in his lifetime, and he also partook of Gatha's slow-time water, giving him a prolonged lifespan far beyond a normal Keldon's. Kreig led his nation in numerous battles, but on one raid against Askaranton, Phyrexian sleeper agents noticed his Phyrexian genetics. Croag and Davvol staged an attack against Kreig's tropps, which they only defeated - but over the course of 50 years, the Phyrexian assaults increased steadily. In his final battle, Kreig encountered the Phyrexian Inner Circle member Croag, a superior opponent. Kreig did manage to wound Croag, but could not defeat him. Kreig and Gatha jumped off the Keldon Necropolis' cliffside, committing suicide so as not to fall into the hands of the Phyrexians.[1]
