Askaranton is a former kingdom located somewhere in the Domains of Dominaria.
History
Around 3700 AR, Phyrexian sleeper agents in Askantaron reported a skirmish between the locals and a large number of Keldon warriors. Some of these warriors possessed heavy affinities for Phyrexia, meaning their genes had Phyrexian components as a result of the Bloodline project. This put Croag on the trail of Gatha's meddling in Keld's bloodlines, drawing the Phyrexians' ire. After Keld's visit, Askantaron was no longer a kingdom, implying that either Keld had annexed the land completely, or had simply killed off any contender for the throne. Laden with plunder taken from Askaranton, the Keldon army had shipped back to their continent of Icehaven.[1]
