Lifetime Time of Legends

Jacques le Vert was a legendary human warrior who lived in ancient times on Dominaria, before the Brothers' War.[1]

History

He abandoned his sword to return to the lush forest of Pendelhaven, his homeland, and devoted all of his life to protecting its creatures. His legendary battle against The Brute in front of the tree city was represented on mosaics from the College of Lat-Nam.[1]

He was the first to bear the ancient Sword of the Meek, which has the ability to return from the graveyard.[2]

Even if after the Phyrexian Invasion of Dominaria the lush greenery of Pendelhaven has withered, the Pendelhaven Elder still carries the ancestral mantle of Jacques and continues his mission: to protect the creatures of his homeland.
