'Shattered Chains, Final Sacrifice' |
Adun Oakenshield was a famous warrior whose coming on Dominaria is foreseen in the Anvilonian Grimoire. It is told that, with his passage, the bodies of the greatest warriors of Dominaria shall rise once again from their graves to follow Adun in battle.
History
Gull referenced Adun's shield in 4074 AR, indicating that Adun's lifetime was during or before that point in time.[1]
In 4077, an unnamed mage on Aerona claimed to be the "Son of Adun Oakenshield". He fought with the archdruid Greensleeves. After losing the battle, he committed suicide. Greensleeves described him as the "so-called son of Adun Oakenshield", indicating that she did not believe his claim.[2]
