Ayli is a female Kor Cleric from Zendikar and high priest of the Eternal Pilgrims. Formerly, she was a follower of Kamsa.[1]

History

Ayli and her older brother Radrik joined the service of the kor wind-goddess Kamsa at an early age. The nomadic siblings became renowned for their wisdom and guidance for troubled souls, but the more insightful Ayli quickly outshone her brother. Disillusioned and envious, Radrik stopped traveling with his sister and joined up with an expedition to Jwar Isle.[2]

Ayli saved Jace Beleren and Jori En from a pursuing swarm of Eldrazi spawn during their expedition to the Eye of Ugin. She brought the two travelers to the sanctuary of the Eternal Pilgrims where the Pilgrims tried to chain up Jace and Jori En as a sacrifice to the approaching titan Ulamog. Jace and Jori En fled after Jace cast illusionary flames on the Eternal Pilgrims.[3]

Ayli survived the Battle of Zendikar and the fall of the Titans, searching for a new deity after Ulamog's demise.
