Sovereign Okinec Ahau, also called the Deep King, is a Malamet noble on Ixalan, and the deified leader of his people.[1]

Description

Okinec Ahau is a large, armored Malamet who carries a massive, serrated obsidian sword.[1] His left fang is broken.[2] He sits on a throne on a raised dais in a pyramid within the largest of the stalactites in Ban Koj. He is the sovereign of the Malamet and considered the only God among his people.

Trivia

  • Ahau is a Maya word for nobility, used for a variety of rulers.[3]
