The Dragon War was an event during the Time of Legends, on the continent of Corondor.

History

After his corruption and abandonment by Geyadrone Dihada, the Swamp King Sol'Kanar had ordered the Date of Tribute. This annual event lasted for an untold number of years, culminating in Sol'Kanar ordering the summoning of the last Scarzam dragon, hopeful of obtaining its power for himself. After many years of trials, Gydolien Mor and Chondeah finally managed the feat, summoning the last Scarzam dragon. However, mounted on the dragon was Sivitri Scarzam herself. Recognizing Sol'Kanar as the source of the poppies that had killed all her dragons in Sivitri's War, Sivitri attacked the Swamp King. To take control of the quickly escalating situation, Gydolien intervened by charming Sivitri's dragon, instructing it to leave. The last dragon went back through the portal through which it was summoned, with Sivitri still riding it. Even though it was Chondeah who had secretly conspired against him, and Gydolien Mor who had unsummoned the threat of Sivitri, an enraged Sol'Kanar ordered a scouring of Gydolien's home of Khone, while Chondaeh's home of Shikar was allowed to shine. For this treachery, Gydolien Mor swore revenge upon Chondaeh.[1]
