Sivitri's War was an event during the Time of Legends, on the continent of Corondor.
History
Astride mighty dragons named for her, the planeswalker Sivitri Scarzam descended upon the lush lands of southeastern Corondor, her staving horde of horrors like locusts, devouring all in their path. All before them were thrown into panic and frenzy. As the dragons began to spread, people began to band together to battle them. Refugees, mostly farmers, joined causes to oppose Sivitri, but their weapons of iron and wood were useless against the hides of the dragons. They tried trick avalanches, fire traps, water traps, and whatever meager magics they could muster, but it seemed nothing could stand in the way of the dragon swarm.
Then one day, an aged healer found a new species of poppy created by the elemental guardian Sol'Kanar. The healer had never seen such flowers before, though he had wandered the region for years. When mulched into a potion, the poppies became an incredibly potent contact poison that could kill the Scarzam Dragons. Speares rubbed with the poison did not even need to penetrate, but only touch their scaled flesh to kill them. Dozens of the creatures were killed.
Sivitri rode the largest Scarzam Dragon, said to be capable of leveling a mountain, and left the plane for other planar conquests. In her absence, the last remaining dragons were destroyed, and the joyous victors settled in the region surrounding the origin point of the invasion, north, and west of the Great Sulgh Salt March.[1]
Shortly after the war, Geyadrone Dihada showed up on Dominaria and corrupted Sol'Kanar, the source of the poppies, which made them disappear from the land. Dihada then set into action the Forging of the Blackblade.
Timing
This event is described as happening "millennia after" the Thran Civil War and "centuries before" the Brothers' War. This vague description places it as happening closer to 28 AR (start of the Brothers' War) than to -5000 (fall of the Thran), or roughly some centuries later than -2500 AR. [1]
