Kemba is a relative of Raksha Golden Cub and was the ruler of the remaining leonin in the Razor Fields of Mirrodin.

Description

As a young skyhunter, she had led hundreds of leonin to safety during Memnarch's ascendancy.[1] When the elder generation of Mirrans disappeared, Kemba was chosen as the leonin's new leader. At first, she refused to take the title kha, preferring to be known as "Regent," the surrogate leader in Raksha's absence. She oversaw the reconstruction of Taj-Nar, helping to restore the morale and dignity of the leonin.

Kemba united the remaining leonin abunas in their fight against the Phyrexians. Although originally reluctant to take on the revered title of "Kha," she took it on to give her people a banner of hope to rally behind. She serves as an advisor to the Vulshok Planeswalker, Koth, and was a key voice in bringing the dissonant Mirran cultures into strong resistance.[2]
