Reyav is an dwarf artificer from Avishkar.
History
Reyav is a highly skilled and sought-after smith on the plane of Avishkar. He specializes in tools and equipment needed for precision tasks. His greatest invention and claim to fame is a gauntlet that combines multiple key tools with delicate automation.
While he knew his gauntlet was something special, he struggled to get recognition for it. In a rather ingenious publicity stunt, Reyav made the designs for the gauntlet publicly available. He had confidence that no other smith could execute his extraordinarily complex design, and he was right. Custom orders came flooding in, and Reyav has never wanted for work ever since.[1]
During the New Phyrexian Invasion, Reyav took the opportunity to demonstrate a portable energy shield attachment on his multi-tool gauntlet. Not only did this stunt save many from compleation, but it also resulted in an explosion of demand for the product.[2]
