The Paradox Engine is a legendary artifact seen on the plane of Kaladesh.

Description

The exact nature of the Paradox Engine is not known. It was submitted anonymously to the Inventors' Fair but was confiscated. The machine inspired Tezzeret to pay more attention and stay longer in Ghirapur on Kaladesh. It is located in the center of a room and several times larger than a person. It appears golden in color and has numerous gears located throughout it. Based on its appearance it may be a type of perpetual motion machine as it resembles hypothetical ones.
