Lander is a predefined token introduced in Edge of Eternities.[1] It represents small shuttle spacecraft designed to land on the surface of a planet. Landers accelerate mana production by tutoring for a basic land from the library.

Description

Lander tokens have "2 generic mana, The tap symbol., Sacrifice this token: Search your library for a basic land card, put it onto the battlefield tapped, then shuffle." They appear in all colors.[2]

Landers were designed to ramp the big creatures and Spaceships of Edge of Eternities. They also work well to aid the Landfall, Sacrifice and Void mechanics of the set.[3][4]

As a white effect, Emergency Eject is the only card to give a Lander token to your opponent.

Future sets can Lander tokens them if they make sense, though the name is a bit restrictive.[5]
