Laina was the leader of the Fyndhorn Elves during the Ice Age on Dominaria.[1]
History
Laina was the one who provided Freyalise with the Ice Cauldron for the World Spell. She was reluctant to allow Kaysa to participate.
Laina, Taaveti, the Fyndhorn Elves, Jaeuhl Carthalion, Kaysa, Jaya Ballard, and Knights of Kjeldor ventured into Yavimaya in search of a new home. They were attacked first by a Phyrexian War Beast and then by the forest itself, and Laina and Kaysa were taken captive by the Gorilla Chieftain. However, the elves and gorillas later allied in cleansing the Heart of Yavimaya.
