Ice Age (comic) |
Oriel Kjeldos (or-ee-EL KYEL-dohss[a]) was a shaman, the leader of Clan Emerald of Storgard, in the Ice Age of Dominaria.
History
Before the Fall of Storgard, she led a large band of others, including Jason Carthalion, Hurn, Mariska, and some of Clan Pearl and Clan Emerald, away from the doomed citadel.[2]
Legend has it that Oriel tamed the first Aesthir. Though she eventually died on the journey from Storgard, Oriel is counted as one of Kjeldor's founders. Her descendants settled in the lands that would become the new kingdom, and this family became Kjeldor's first royal family dynasty, using "Kjeld" as a family name. They founded the city of the same name which would become the nation's first capital.[3]
