Amenakhte was an Amonkheti human who fell during the Hour of Devasation.
History
During the Hour of Eternity, Amenakhte, severely wounded and close to death, lay on the ground, desperate to save the child he had protected. It was not his own child, but it reminded him of his child somehow. He mustered the strength to call for help, and a woman, not one of the Eternals, found him. He begged her to save the child he thought had shielded from the Eternals' blades. Despite his blurry vision, he sensed her compassion and saw her tears as she hesitated, not daring to tell him that the child was dead. Overcome with sympathy, she promised to save the child, even though she could not. Comforted by her warmth and reassurance, Amenakhte's vision faded, and he succumbed to his injuries, knowing he had done everything to protect the child.
