Realmbreaker is New Phyrexia's Invasion Tree.[1][2][3]
History
Realmbreaker is grown in the Seedcore, the innermost layer of the Spheres of New Phyrexia, a place that serves as an incubation chamber. It is created with the tyrite of the World Tree taken by Vorinclex during his exploits on Kaldheim.[4] If properly developed, it has the potential to forcibly merge planes[5].
In 4562 AR, it is still a sapling with beads of glistening oil hanging from its twigs like buds. Elesh Norn announced to Karn that it was "the beginning of great things".[2] She plans to expand and bring the glory of New Phyrexia to the Multiverse. As she prepares for Invasion, her faction has become the Machine Legion, the core of the Phyrexian armada.[1]
The Gatewatch plans to destroy Realmbreaker with the Sylex.[6]
