Lithoform cores are powerful artifacts found on Zendikar's skyclaves. The Kor Planeswalker Nahiri believes that those cores can stop Zendikar's Roil forever. While they indeed can stop the Roil's influences for a while, they do so by apparently absorbing life from both organic and inorganic matter.
