Jor Kadeen is a leading member of the Mirran Resistance that is led by the healer Melira. He is likely of Auriok descent, due to his white hair.
He is of the opinion that even the most capable generals and seasoned warriors of the Resistance can't fight the weapons, tactics, and magic of the Phyrexians on an equal base. He prefers to hide and survive.[1] As long as they remain on Mirrodin, there is a shred of hope that their world will one day be returned to its rightful occupants. He sees it as his task to ready the minds of the young ones for the future they face.[1]
