Chiss-Goria is an ancient and particularly nasty furnace dragon of Mirrodin.[1] After spending much time slumbering he rose to fight the Phyrexians during New Phyrexia's Invasion of the Multiverse.[2]

Description

Chiss-Goria is one of the few remaining dragons from the original Mirrodin. He spent much time slumbering deep in his secret lair. Mirrans crafted armor and weapons from the scales and teeth he shed and seeing him in flight is considered a good omen that they will win their next battle.[2] During the Phyrexian conquest of the plane, he escaped compleation by simply destroying any and all Phyrexians that attempted to go near him.

When New Phyrexia's Invasion of the Multiverse began, Chiss-Goria rose to the skies to fight the Phyrexians, although it is unknown whether his actions were actually aligned with the Mirran rebels. His actions awoke other sleeping furnace dragons and brought them into the conflict.[3]

Chiss-Goria's fate during the New Phyrexia-Zhalfir switch is unknown.
