Gbega is a councilor of Femeref on the continent of Jamuraa, on the plane of Dominaria.
Description
Councilor Gbega is a notable member of the Council of Voices, occupying a position on the second tier of the Great Chamber. She is described as a short-haired, small-faced woman with a sharp and assertive demeanor. Gbega is known for her strong opinions and her role in opposing Niambi's plea for aid to the Efravan caravan.
History
During a meeting in the Great Chamber, Gbega took a firm stance against Niambi’s protest. She argued that the Efravan tribes, currently outside Femeref's walls, should not be given aid, suggesting instead that they would eventually move on when their supplies ran out. Her view reflected a lack of empathy and focused on pragmatic, albeit harsh, decision-making. Gbega supported the argument put forth by Awateh and Jabras regarding the potential danger posed by the Efravan tribes. She echoed concerns about Phyrexian infiltration and the possibility that the Efravan might harbor Phyrexian agents. Her support added weight to the argument that the Efravans posed a significant threat.
However, a few days later, Gbega, along with Awateh and Jabras, spied Niambi bringing Sidar Teshunda into a carriage headed for the Efravan mines. They shouted for Teshunda to stop, but their voices were unheeded. They worriedly arranged their transport to the mines in the wake of Teshunda's carriage, but they were too late. When they arrived, Teshunda had made up his mind and had welcomed the Efravan to Femeref, despite the councilors' protestations.[1]
