The Cape of Casindral is a significant coastal landform marking the southernmost cape of the continent of Corondor on the plane of Dominaria.
Description
Situated south of the White Woods and directly north of Casindral Isle, it lies roughly midway along the southern coastline between Stonehaven in the west and Golthonor in the east. This positioning makes it a prominent navigational landmark in southern Corondor, serving as a natural boundary between several surrounding regions.
The cape is known as a natural source of blue mana. Its rugged shoreline is often battered by storms, with brisk waves steadily wearing away the cliffs and carving numerous sea caves and stone pillars. Mariners have long regarded the mist-shrouded headland as a place of favorable omen, as ships passing it are carried by a strong current said to move at twice the speed of the southern albatross. Its harbor has served as a point of departure for merchant vessels, leisure craft, and pirate ships alike, since from here the entirety of Corondor's southern coast can be reached by sea. The cape has also become a place of arrival, serving as the first landfall for refugees fleeing the recent unrest in the tropical lands of Jamuura.[1]
