Adila Rimehit is a priest and secretly a harborer of werewolves on the plane of Innistrad.

Description

Adila Rimheit is a devout and compassionate woman who holds a high position within the Church of Avacyn. Physically, she is known to have a beautiful red-haired daughter named Elsi, indicating Adila might have similar features. Her strong faith and dedication to her religious duties are evident in her correspondence and actions. Despite her pious nature, she faced tremendous personal tragedies that shaped her life and actions.

History

At the age of 8, Adila's daughter, Elsi, was bitten by a werewolf, leading to a chain of events where Adila fervently defended her innocence and sought to cure her. Despite her efforts, Elsi was condemned by the church, resulting in her untimely death. Adila's father, Jorgin, who tried to protect Elsi, was executed for aiding a werewolf. These losses deeply affected Adila, but instead of breaking her, they strengthened her resolve to continue her work.

Adila became involved in finding a cure for lycanthropy, risking her position and safety within the church. She harbored werewolves like Holger Burk, and worked on treatments to reduce their aggressiveness. Her endeavors were met with suspicion and disapproval from church authorities, yet she persisted, driven by her personal losses and commitment to her cause.

Her life was further marred by the death of Reika Eberhardt, her ward, student, and close companion, under mysterious circumstances in Thraben. This event pushed Adila into deeper conflict with the church and its representatives. Despite the overwhelming grief and the loss of two daughters (biological and metaphorical), Adila remained steadfast, directing her anger and sorrow into her crusade against the church's corruption and its harsh measures against werewolves.

Adila's legacy is marked by her tireless fight against injustice, her compassionate yet rebellious spirit, and her unwavering dedication to those she loves. Her story is one of profound tragedy, relentless faith, and an enduring battle against the darkness that took her daughters from her.
