Aurora
The Aurora is an annual natural event on Lorwyn, a "night" when lights can be seen in the sky. On Shadowmoor it is the exact opposite, a "day" when sunlight comes though.
Sometimes the Aurora brings a fundamental change to the plane, in this case it is called a Great Aurora.
