Ingrid Reichert is a young cathar from Innistrad, who followed in the footsteps of her father Hermann and his father before him.[1][2]
History
When the planeswalker Dack Fayden arrived on Innistrad, his first act was to save Ingrid and some peasants from Baron Eckhart Von Falkenrath and his group of vampires. Ingrid quickly returned the favor by saving Dack from the Baron. She took Dack home to meet her father Hermann, who disapproved of her actions. Both her father and Dack forbade her to follow Dack on his quest to find the Baron and Sifa Grent, but she disobeyed them both.
When she found Dack, he was tracking the Baron by use of his magic. Ingrid was impressed and led him to the Baron's castle. There the two fought a group of vampires and Dack used his magic to capture the Baron. Dack was about to kill Baron, when he had to ride off to save the townsfolk from Sifa Grent. He left the Baron's fate in Ingrid's hands.
