Muldrotha is a Dominarian elemental avatar.
History
She is the spawn of Multani, and the Maro-Sorcerer of Yavimaya's offshoot on Urborg.[1][2] Like the land that gave her life, Muldrotha is wild, dark, unpredictable, and relentless. She appears as an immense shape, suffused with green light and wrapped in the remnants of rotting vines and wood and woven through with fragmented corpses and mud. Huge horns top her head and her open maw is a rage-filled rictus. By request of Slimefoot and the spirits of Urborg, she helped the Weatherlight crew to defeat Yargle.[3]
Later, during New Phyrexia's Invasion of the Multiverse, Muldrotha sent a plea for assistance to her father Multani to assist Yargle, who had been fighting and eating the invading Phyrexians and exposing himself to dangerous levels of glistening oil. Muldrotha managed to persuade him, and Multani bound himself to Yargle, using his powers and existing knowledge of Phyrexia to grant increased resistance to glistening oil.[4]
