The Skyshaper was a piece of the Legacy that Karn found in the Sliver Lair of Rath.
Description
The Skyshaper was a piece of the Legacy that Volrath had placed under the guard of the Sliver Queen, tucked deep in the Sliver Lair of Rath. It was a large piece of metal-plated machinery that enabled the Skyship Weatherlight to boost its speed temporarily.[1]
History
When Vuel stole the artifacts of the Legacy from Gerrard, he spread most of the across Dominaria. Those pieces became part of Sisay's quest to recover, but Vule kept the Skyshaper until he became Volrath, Evincar of Rath. He placed the Skyshaper deep in the Sliver Lair, where the Sliver Queen stood guard over it. The Skyshaper was later joined by other pieces of the Legacy that Greven il-Vec took from the Skyship Weatherlight after its first attack. When Karn later passed through the halls of the Stronghold, he felt the items of the Legacy calling to him and approached the Sliver Queen. Sharing an understanding between them, the Sliver Queen allowed Karn to take the Legacy, as it was parts of himself, much like the slivers were part of the Sliver Queen.[1]
At the end of the Phyrexian Invasion, The Legacy merged with Karn. All of its powerful parts, including the Skyshaper, united and gave Karn knowledge and power beyond other planeswalkers.
