The Dominarian elven city of Salamzuri (sah-lam-zoo-ree) was built in the Uktabi Jungle by the Quirion that accompanied Mangara to Jamuraa.
History
Although their influence spread throughout the jungle before the war, the elves were forced to flee into Salamzuri when the Mirage Wars began. With the jungle increasingly dangerous, Salamzuri, which never fell, stood as a beacon of sanctuary to those unlucky enough to be caught out in the open.
Salamzuri was |phased out alongside the rest of north-western Jamuraa when the planeswalker Teferi wanted to spare it from the horrors of the Phyrexian Invasion. It was removed from existence when Jeska destroyed the time rift over Zhalfir, but returned along with the rest of Zhalfir as part of its own plane during the New Phyrexian Invasion.
