Sister Nadeen Dormet was one of the so-called stone dwarves living on Dominaria at the time of the Phyrexian Invasion.
Description
Nadeen Dormet had long hair across her able shoulders, a pragmatic mouth, a prominent nose, and wrinkles where the years had been unkind, but her eyes were bright, blue, and piercing.[1]
History
During the Battle of the Stronghold, one of the last stages of the Phyrexian Invasion, Eladamri, Sivvi en-Vec, and Grizzlegom noticed loud blasts and shaking earth coming from the edge of Bluefire Mountain. They investigated and found Nadeen and her band of stone dwarves at work. When approached, the dwarves turned into formless piles of stone, smoothly enough that Eladamri and the others were confounded. However, when they turned to leave, Nadeen returned to her fleshy form, and they formed a pact to assault the Stronghold, each from their angle.
Together with her tribe, Nadeen caused a massive eruption of the volcano that housed the Stronghold after the Rathi Overlay. Because of her tribe's actions, the Stronghold was destroyed. Nadeen survived the Apocalypse and even a direct attack from Yawgmoth himself and attended the Heroes' Memorial the following year.[1]
