Moukir is a human knight, captain of the Knights of the Pilgrim’s Road, from Valeron in Bant on the plane of Alara.
History
Around 4547 AR, Moukir and her leotau mount encountered Gideon Jura just as he appeared on Bant after his very first planeswalk. She presented herself as Moukir, captain of the Knights of the Pilgrim’s Road. She commented that he was lost in the Bant nation of Valeron, and asked his name. His throat parched and his mind reeling, he choked out "Kytheon", and Moukir tried to confirm his name, she guessed "Gideon". Gideon was so overwhelmed by the sensation of planeswalking and the stunning serenity of Bant that he did not correct her, and thus, his name changed to everyone outside of Theros.[1]
