Dollun Spinebreaker is a criminal rhox warrior from Alara. He has been known as The Rhox Brute, The Stars of Jund, and Dollun the Bloody. He was once a proud military commander who went mad during the horrors of war. He has been wanted for assault on all five shards and dereliction of duty on Bant.
History
Dollun was once known as one of the foremost rhox champions of the army of Jhess, on the Bant coast. He rose in the Sigiled caste in a meteoric fashion earning the title of Knight-Captain in only seven years. During the Jhess-Valeron conflict, he was the commander of the Eleventh Legion of Soldiers, Sigiled paladins, and leotau cavalry. Dollun was known to closely follow religious tradition and military procedure. He is said to have perfected pre-battle recitations of long passages of the Prayer to Asha to inspire his troops.
Once the war between the shards began, Dollun's military career came to a rapid end. He witnessed his men slain by the hundreds on a long and chaotic campaign into Naya. He saw this as their blood being shed in a senseless battle with brutish monsters that knew nothing of procedure. This experience shattered Dollun's sense of propriety and honor, and he began to switch his tactics to include wild maneuvers and bloody, backhanded tactics.
One night he lost nearly all of the Eleventh Legion under his command, them having been slaughtered on the catastrophic campaign through the jungle. In response, it is said Dollun emerged from his tent in blood-spattered tribal garb wielding two massive spiked maces. He set out on his own without the rest of his soldiers and immediately charged out to butcher the Naya and Jund enemies that had encamped nearby. Following this he escaped into one of the lowland chasms of Jund. Those who saw him claim he was raving and roaring fragmented passages from the Prayer of Asha. Following this, he traveled to the other shards, meting out justice as he saw fit.[1]
