The House of Kestha is one of the five Houses of guild wizards in Estark, located in Kush, on Dominaria. Its color is gray.

Description

Kestha's color is gray, and its fighters are generally associated with white and black mana.[1] Before the Time of Troubles, the front of the palace of Kestha was marked by dark gray slate flagstones and decorated with six towering statues representing fighters, with their hands raised upward as if about to cast spells across the pavilion against the buildings of the other Houses.[2] Inside, the house boasts an armory of nonmagical weapons, including crossbows, lances, morning stars, battle-axes, and swords. Its hallways are dotted with murder holes to ward off attack.

Kestha's fighters wear gray tunics and trousers, their capes made of the finest leather and decorated with mystical signs and runes. Ornate sashes that go from their left shoulder to their right hip hang golden satchels for their amulets, spells, and tiny silken packages of earth that contained the mana they controlled from distant lands, helping them recall the land's leylines.[2] After its fighters won 9 of the 20 Festivals between 4049 and 4068 AR, its reputation allowed gray fighters to demand higher prices than any other house.
