Founding the Conclave of Mages was an event in the earliest part of the Dark Age.

Description

The Conclave of Mages was founded after 69 AR, when Tawnos left Penregon, and before 80 AR, when rumors of its existence reached Jarsyl. The founders were known as "Nod" and "Duck", actually Ashnod and Tawnos. The two artificers did not use their real names to conserve the secrecy of the school and keep the Church of Tal at bay. Kayla bin-Kroog heard of this from her grandson Jarsyl, and she recognized Duck as being Tawnos, finally realizing he had not died in his factory fire 11 years prior.

The Conclave's school was founded to study both artifice and magic, following similar principles as the Third Path before it. The school used the abandoned ruins of the former Monastery of Gix as their base to build their citadel. Jarsyl joined the Conclave shortly after its founding, becoming one of its earliest members.
