Botono was one of Shanna's crew on the Weatherlight prior to its Compleation.
Description
Botono was the helmsman of the Weatherlight under Shanna. As the helmsman, he was responsible for steering and navigating the skyship. During an encounter with a bone dragon, the Weatherlight was suddenly attacked, causing it to lurch violently. Botono was found on the floor of the cockpit with a puddle of blood under his head, indicating he had been injured, possibly from being thrown by the impact. Later, when Shanna and Tiana entered the corrupted Weatherlight, they discovered Botono’s head, grotesquely transformed and attached to a Phyrexian tentacle-like appendage. He, along with other crew members, had been corrupted and killed by the Phyrexian influence that overtook the ship. Shanna ended his suffering by severing the tentacle, bringing an end to his transformed state.[1]
