Borben was a coastal town situated in a sheltered bay by a peninsula on the edge of Otaria, on the plane of Dominaria.
Description
The town of Borben sat at the end of a major trade road, the last habitation before the open ocean. A long peninsula jutted out from the mainland, creating a protected bay. Like a single finger of hills, it beckoned to ships searching for port. Waterfowl and a few seals sunning themselves populated the last spit of land.[1]
History
In 4305 AR, Kamahl came to Borben seeking the Mirari. He joined the local pit fights, where he defeated the necromancer Apel without killing him. The same night, three young men, Birten, Wasel and Girter asked to become his apprentices. Although Kamahl agreed, a huge tsunami rose due to Aboshan's misuse of the Mirari. Although Kamahl survived, the three men were never mentioned again, and the entire area around Borben was sunk to the bottom of the ocean.[1]
