Aurora Luna Wynterstarr is a dhampir student at Strixhaven University on the plane of Arcavios. A member of Witherbloom College, she is known for her theatrical presence, haunting music, and intense dedication to self-expression.

Description

Before enrolling at Strixhaven, Aurora adopted the name and dramatic persona of Aurora Luna Wynterstarr, believing her dhampir heritage — a blend of blood including vampire — as a cosmic sign of her destined greatness. A talented warlock and accomplished multi-instrumentalist, she is especially known for her melancholic hurdy-gurdy performances at Bow's End Tavern, where her dirges often captivate and unnerve audiences in equal measure.

Aurora is a member of the Strixhaven Show Band Association, though she regards its performances as lacking the raw emotional depth of her original compositions. She also works as a stadium groundskeeper at the Strixhaven Stadium, where she uses her magic to eliminate unwanted vegetation with unnerving joy.

Aurora’s gothic charm and commanding stage presence have earned her the admiration — and wariness — of other campus musicians. Many are so captivated by her artistry that they cover her expenses at live music venues one night each week. However, her sharp tongue and flair for dramatic lyrics often find their way into campus performances, where those who've crossed her may recognize unflattering verses aimed in their direction.
