Professor Zaffai is an instructor at the Prismari College within Strixhaven University on the plane of Arcavios.[1]
History
From the moment Zaffai reached maturity, his parents ensured he would receive the finest education by sending him to Strixhaven, confident that his remarkable musical talent deserved the best possible training. While his skill was genuinely extraordinary, his family also welcomed the move because his musical practice often triggered uncontrolled storms, with lightning strikes and cyclones frequently devastating their home. As Zaffai developed both his magical and musical abilities, he discovered a natural gift for conducting orchestras.
Beyond his teaching duties, Zaffai holds the prestigious title of Grand Maestro for the Orchestra of the Arcane, an exclusive group composed of the most talented Prismari students. This ensemble rehearses exclusively outdoors to safely accommodate their dynamic performances, which light up the skies with spectacular displays of elemental magic during their concerts.[2]
