Elspeth Tirel
Elspeth Tirel is a planeswalker from the Shards of Alara set.
She was born on a plane of darkness, where she found herself chained in a dungeon. When she was 13, a horrific creature appeared before her, causing her spark to flare. Elspeth fled her home world and searched the Multiverse for the paradise she would eventually find in Bant.
In Bant, Elspeth found a community where she could fit in. Eventually she became a knight of Valeron and lost her desire to planeswalk. Her fellow knights had no knowledge of her ability to planeswalk or of her origins. She keeps her origin and abilities secret and avoids any question concerning her birthplace.
After Elspeth was warned of the Conflux by Ajani, she went out with her squire Aran to search for evidence. At a Rhox monastery they found a Grixis incursion zone.
After realizing Bant would be changed forever and stop being the plane she cherished, she planeswalked away.
